CHEYENNE MARKETING COMPANY REBRANDS

Rocky Mountain International now offering destination marketing services domestically

After nearly 32 years in the international travel promotion business, Cheyenne marketing firm Rocky Mountain International is pleased to announce it has rebranded and expanded its marketing services to also include domestic organizations in the travel and tourism industry.

The company, now known simply as RMI, was established in Wyoming in 1990 specifically to meet the needs of Western state tourism departments for international tourism marketing in top inbound visitation markets. It will now offer a full suite of marketing solutions, including destination marketing, strategic planning, consulting, research and insights, design, brand development, public relations, advertising, digital, event management, cooperative marketing, international representation and translation services to clients throughout the United States.

“We’re reinventing ourselves and are excited to offer 30-plus years of global marketing experience to new customers. Our goal is to make a difference in the communities we live in and serve, and with this announcement we plan to do just that through hard work, innovativeness, and being a partner you can trust,” RMI CEO Mathias Jung said.

RMI’s mission remains the same: to increase incremental visitation, spend and market share to fuel the economies of its stakeholders through world-class marketing services and results. Whether it’s time to update, elevate or revolutionize your marketing, RMI offers marketing services to destination marketing entities like convention and visitors bureaus or regional groups, hotels, activities and attractions who are looking to attract new visitors.

“This step made a lot of sense for us as a company and is a natural progression given our background in tourism and service capabilities working for some of the most influential travel brands in the world matched with a clear demand for marketing to support domestic clientele in our home region,” Jung said.

Born and raised in small communities across the American West, RMI’s staff knows first-hand how to sell the unique personalities and experiences found only in authentic small-town USA. The company can create, design, strategize, and breathe into life exciting brands and marketing campaigns that bring interest and travelers to your front door, boosting local economies with valuable tourism dollars. RMI couples its strategies with research and training to empower destinations to steer their own ship.

Working for the likes of state tourism agencies and visitor and lodging tax groups in the West has given the company practice targeting the right audience, curating the best message, and increasing both awareness and visitation for its clients. RMI is proud of the global brands it represents and the positive local impact those programs have created. Whether you’re seeking to make an international impact or simply to build tighter connections with your neighbors, RMI has the skills, experience and expertise to make it happen.
